AOC is a specially designed product for inducing maximum pumping of muscles. It contains
a premium combination of active ingredients such as AAKG + Citruline + Ornitine.
The product can be used on training and non-training days several times during the day. In
addition to the pumping effect itself, it also works well for better sleep.
What Is Arginine Alpha Ketoglutarate (Aakg)?
Arginine Alpha Ketoglutarate (AAKG) is the primary ingredient in most pre-workout, cell
volumising supplements. It’s an amino acid compound that’s been shown to help increase
muscular ‘pump’ and vascularity as well as the delivery of blood, oxygen and nutrients to the
working muscles during exercise.
Looking more specifically at the profile of Arginine Alpha-Ketoglutarate (AAKG), it is
a conditionally essential amino acid that plays a number of vital roles in human biochemistry.
In particular, it has an important role to play in protein synthesis, the process by which the
muscles use protein to repair and regrow bigger.
The addition of the -Ketoglutarate compound helps improve the delivery of L Arginine in
metabolic pathways. In simple terms, this helps the L Arginine to work more effectively within
the body which is designed to assist you in achieving superior results.
Citrulline Malate:
L-citrulline is a non-essential (conditionally essential) amino acid micro nutrient that the body
cannot produce in sufficient quantities typically under greater strain, therefore replenishment
might become necessary. When it comes to fruit, citrulline is found in large quantities in
watermelon, for example. The synergistic combination of L-citrulline amino acid and malic
acid is L-citrulline malate. Malic acid (malate) is an organic acid, which can be found in nature
(for example in apple). L-citrulline amino acid is what L-arginine and L-ornithine amino acids
are made of.It is a formula very popular among athletes.
L-Ornithine:
L-Ornithine is a nonprotein amino acid (not used to create proteins) that is an intermediate
of the urea cycle, and provision of ornithine to a cell is actually the rate limiting step
of the cycle. Ornithine binds with a molecule known as carbamoyl phosphate which
requires ammonia to be produced and then is converted into L-Citrulline giving off urea as
a byproduct. Due to this, the conversion is one that reduces ammonia concentrations in the
blood and concomitantly increases urea.
L-Ornithine is thought to be important for conditions that are characterized by an excess
level of ammonia, and this is mainly focused on either hepatic encephalopathy (clinical liver
condition) or prolonged cardiovascular exercise.
